The exciting and creative world of aerial drone photography is available in the Peterborough and the Kawartha's. My new company name is Drone Sense for professional drone services. 

I bring 25 years of pro-photography experience in the field of media, commercial, wedding and events using a DJI Phantom 4 Pro drone with a 24 mm adjustable aperture lens and a 20 mp sensor for beautiful 4K 60 fps video and raw still images. 

Suggested applications of drone aerial shots for promotional use: Real Estate, weddings, Golf courses, resorts and camp grounds, manufacturing plants, and sports events.

Spring is just around the corner in the Kawarthas. It means that the Real Estate rush is in top gear as commercial and residential realtors and property owners look to show their listings in the best possible way.

Drones or UAV technology has greatly improved and this has helped pave the way for cost effective solutions to capture views of properties in ways not possible in the past. My aerial photos and videos will help agents and private owners alike attract buyers, drive inquiries and help properties stand out from the rest of the market with an important aerial perspective. Weddings are an event that can also benefit from romantically edited aerial video and stills of this special event. I offer drone add-on packages for your selected wedding photographer to enhance their wedding packages. Wedding packages start as low as $250.

I am a fully compliant UAV operator with a Special Flight Operating Certificate (SFOC) issued by Transport Canada. Prior to all drone flights I conduct an extensive safety review of the area to ensure I am able to meet all of the safety requirements set out by transport Canada.

Learning and understanding your camera

The greatest invention for capturing images instantly, the digital SLR and mirrorless cameras and now aerial drones.

Then why are there so many new photographers that don't really understand how to get great exposures, outstanding compositions and incredible lighting? You have to learn your camera,

Know what your lenses are capable of giving you and understand your flash. How does one get to this point of creating beautiful images effortlessly? Practise practise and more practise. It is no different from learning a guitar. You have to play it every day to get better. So take  your camera and play with all the different settings and refer to the manual for advice. Read everything related to what makes you passionate about photography.
